The Exceed Triathlon Super Sprint is back.  It's based in  Perth and is  even bigger and better than last year.   Get Ready for  more pain to be inflicted in the  2019/20 Triathlon season..

 

This is Australia’s very first age group draft legal Super Sprint Series and it is being held right here in Perth.   Each race will consist of 3 x super sprint distances of a 300m swim, 7km bike and 1.5km run, the order of these 3 races will be mixed each race. Athletes will have a chance to recover between races and work out their strategy for the next one. The racing is fast/ furious and fun but allows for no mistakes.

 

During the 3 races in the Series, athletes have a chance to gain points.

Race Day athletes in each super sprint will accumulate points based on their position crossing the finish line ie. 1st = 1 point, 2nd = 2 points, the athlete at the end of the 3 races with the lowest total will be the winner on the day.

At Champion Lakes 23/12 the Series Final Race 3 end - the total score from each will be added and the Series Winners will be crowned and the celebrations and bragging rights begin.

 

There will also be prize money for Open Athletes for each mini race, at the end of the race day and the end of the race series, so if you have ever thought about making the step up to open racing this is a great chance.

 

Races 1 & 3 EXSS will also host a races for the little ones with the Exceed “Mini Marvels” under the Sunsmart/ Trystars banner. Kids from ages 7-12 will get the chance to race and have fun in the safe closed road environment.

 

General entry will open for The series and each race on 17/8/18 with a specialty early entry offered to those who raced last year opening on 3/8/18.
